Last winter saw a very low incidence of respiratory infections such as colds and flu. This was mainly due to mask wearing, social distancing and hand hygiene measures taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19. As we return to normality, it is expected that there will be a resurgence of respiratory infections such as influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
